I am Amanda Hoover.

          Amanda is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and contemporary dancer with a deep commitment to capturing authentic human emotion through performance-driven storytelling. Her work explores unconventional and creative approaches to narrative, often through movement, mixed media, and visually expressive forms.

         With a lifelong foundation in performance, Amanda is driven by collaboration and the pursuit of boundary-pushing creative work. She thrives at the intersection of film and movement, continually seeking new ways to expand the emotional and visual language of cinema.

        Amanda holds dual degrees in Contemporary Dance and Cinema & Media Production. Since graduating in 2019, she has accumulated seven years of professional experience in the film industry, working as a video editor at Paradox Post in Vineyard, Utah, while also founding and leading her own production company in Indianapolis, Indiana.

          Her professional work spans directing, editing, and choreographing for screendance projects, as well as contributing to music videos, documentaries, short films, and commercial productions. She has collaborated with renowned clients including Panasonic and The Chosen. Amanda is passionate about continued growth through collaboration and is eager to further expand her creative practice alongside other artists and filmmakers.
